'Egyptienne ailee', Winged Egyptian nude crouching forward , wearing a decorative necklace and nothing else. Created by Marcel Bonnot in 1920. This is the very rare largest version of the two sizes produced, being retailed at the time by Editions Marvel. Signed 'M.Bonnot', with 'editions Marvel' stampings to the base. Finished in silvered bronze. Photographed and described in Michel Legrand book 'Mascottes Automobiles' Plate 277.

Condition :
First class totally original 1920 condition, totally commensurate with the age of the piece. The detail on the head-dress and toes is especially finely cast, exactly as it should be with the Marvel earliest and rarest special edition.
