Jacques Cartier sitting Alsation c.1920. Created in true Art Deco style and finished in heavy plated bronze. A mascot for a perfectionist collector. Complete with good clear moulded markings of Jacques Cartier to the base of the mascot. Photographed and described in Michel Legrand book 'Mascottes Automobiles' Plate 723. A true classic true 'Work of Art' from this most famous master sculptors. Now an extremely rare find.
Dimensions : 160mm high.
Condition : Absolutely superb totally original condition with especially crisp detail. Undamaged ears and exceptional patination throughout. Never touched, restored or abused in any way.
