Clement Bayard Knight in armour carrying spear and sword. Signed by Ch.Paillet, c.1915-1920. Fantastic original. A mascot for a perfectionist. Two versions were made, one with pennant and the second with the sword and spear. Photographed and described in Michel Legrand book 'Mascottes Passion' Plate 173. Mounted on a very early fine French radiator cap.

Finished in bronze with superb detailing. Signed on base. This is an exceptionally rare find, with both original sword and spear intact and in top condition, with wonderful patination.
