Winged Devil with hand grasping his throat coming from a flaming fire mascot. This is a most amazing creation by Gelas, signed on base, c.1920. Finished in two tone brass and silver, and was the deluxe and rarest version of this extremely amazing mascot. Photographed and described in Michel Legrand book 'Mascottes Passion' Plate 276, (Without Wings).

Condition :
Absolutely superb totally original condition, superb patination and detail. The wings are especially finely detailed, with 'bat wing' internal veining and muscles showing clearly.
