| Hare with arm in a sling riding a tortoise mascot by Henri Payen c.1920's. This is an extremely rare and important piece, that combines humour and pathos. Photographed and described in Michel Legrand book 'Mascottes Automobiles' Plate 810. |
| Dimensions : 140mm high. |
| Condition : The hare is finished in dark bronze, contrasting beautifully with the lighter coloured bronze tortoise. Fantastic original patination that only eighty years honest use can ever bring. |
