1925 Indian wielding Tomahawk Car Hood Ornament

Red Indian wielding tomahawk mascot by Jactel. Created by Armancel. Two types were made, the other was by Mady. This is the rarest of them all - the largest size with the integral stud fixing. Heavy silvered bronze. c.1925. If you want an extremely impressive Red Indian subject this is surely the ultimate. Photographed and described in Michel Legrand book 'Mascottes Passion' Plate 257.
Dimensions : 185mm high.
Condition : Superb totally original piece, signed Jactel. Original tomahawk, mounting stud. Display base mounted. Usual wear associated with the age of the piece, original patination.
