1920 Cubist La Bource Car Mascot, Hood Ornament

'Coup de Vent, a La Bource' by A.le Pickard. This depicts the figure of a crouching man in dismay outside the Bourse (French Stock Exchange), created in pure cubist style. It was created in the 1920's. A great piece, extremely rare and fine. Photographed and described in Michel Legrand book 'Mascottes Automobiles' Plate 482. Display base mounted.
Dimensions : 100mm high, 110mm long.
Condition : This fantastic mascot is finished in very heavy silvered bronze, has superb detail with good clear signature under his coat tail.
