(Move down to see further photographs)
'Amour frileux', F.Bazin boy with wings. c.1920, heavy silvered bronze. This is a wonderful creation with amazing detail and a most charming and beautiful subject created by a true master of his craft. This is the rare mascot version as opposed to the deskpiece, in that the base grasses go upwards to rear of leg for greater support. An all time great mascot. French style at its very best. Photographed and described in Michel Legrand book 'Mascottes Automobiles' Plate 361.
Dimensions : 150mm high.
Condition : Absolutely superb totally original condition, signed F.Bazin. Mounted on wooden display base.
