Fine glass mascot depicting a Racing Driver wearing helmet and goggles, facing into the wind, as he drives along in a speeding racing car. This fantastic piece was produced by H.G.Aucher Ltd. Marketed under its trade mark 'Red Ashay' in 1930, and featured in their publicity brochure 'Beauty and the Car'. See page 128, Automotive mascots by Kay and Springate. This piece is exceptionally rare.
